About

Luc Revel is based in the South Puget Sound but was born and raised in Australia. He began his professional career with a degree in architecture from the University of South Australia before moving to France where he worked in various architectural firms for ten years on diverse projects including cultural and educational projects. After this experience, he worked for a local nonprofit in Paris building low income housing for, and with the participation of, underprivileged communities. Later he partook in multiple projects with a collective of architects and artists creating temporary architectural installations for artistic festivals across Europe.

Since relocating to the US, he has focused on sculptural and custom furniture work, with occasional architectural projects for local artists.

His interest lies in reusing found objects. He prefers fixing and/or reusing as opposed to contributing to landfills.
